THE TEAM

Fritz G. DeJOIE, Jr.—Founder and CEO of Saving Our Generation—has become an inspirational figure, using his talents to uplift and transform the lives of countless young people through education and entertainment.

Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Mr. DeJOIE was gifted with many talents that he longed to share with the world. However, growing up in a poverty-stricken neighborhood in the late 1980s, opportunities for children of color to pursue their dreams—especially in entertainment—were often limited. Despite his determination and the unwavering support of his loving parents and siblings, Mr. DeJOIE struggled to carve out his place in an environment filled with negative influences.

Repeated attempts to establish himself were met with disappointment, and over time, he found himself drawn into the very struggles his family had tried to protect him from. Poor choices led to serious challenges, including multiple school expulsions, extended stays in psychiatric institutions, bullying, and ultimately, incarceration.

It was during his time in prison that Mr. DeJOIE made a pivotal decision—he would use his experiences to create a positive impact on the next generation. With the steadfast support of his family, he dedicated himself to building a platform where underprivileged youth could express themselves, find their voices, and showcase their unique talents. This vision became Saving Our Generation, an organization designed to empower young people, encourage self-expression, and prevent them from feeling silenced, overlooked, or forced into making the same mistakes he once did.

Today, Mr. DeJOIE remains committed to his mission: to help youth embrace their individuality, build confidence, and strive to become the best versions of themselves—on their own terms. His guiding principle is clear:

“Saving our generation is an obligation, not a favor.”

Mr. Zane Xavier Colbert, President

Mr. William S. Brown, Vice President

Vice President Mr. William S. Brown is an inspirational, motivational and encouraging figure apart of The Saving Our Generation Foundation. Mr. Brown was born and raised in Philadelphia but spent part of his upbringing in Delaware County. At an early age Mr. Brown has always wanted to be apart of something bigger than himself. However, he gravitated toward the negative influences his community had to offer which caused him to overlook the consequences of his actions that not only affected himself but also the people he loved. Mr. Browns mother played a key role as an inspirational figure in his life to help him stop weighing down the good things he saw and thought about himself with bad beliefs and supported him every step of the way to overcome many hardships. He began to acknowledge the hurt and harm he caused himself, family, and community and decided to turn things around for the better. Mr. Brown involved himself in therapeutic, vocational, and academic programs that helped with his cognitive thinking, mental and emotional health. He went on to becoming an Author/Illustrator of 3 children's publications to challenge the youth in dealing with peer pressure, ethic, ethnic and cultural difference's plaguing our community. "My mission apart of The Saving Our Generation Foundation is to do outreach, make sure our message as a collective is getting out there, speaking truth to empower and continue making sure I'm an addition, not a subtraction." Saving Our Generation is an obligation, not a favor!

Our Mission

Our Mission is to invest into the future of our youth. Securing a brighter tomorrow, today. Reinforcing both family and social ties for a more firm foundation for all human kind. We at Saving Our Generation strive to instill the necessary prerequisites into the youth today, who will become the leaders of tomorrow, by contributing to society productively because ALL LIVES MATTER. ”

Savings Our generation, Foundation was established to circulate a stronger bondage amongst one another, breath assurance back into our communities by reinforcing methods of safety upon our youth. Our goal is the advancement of youth programs in our community, to help improve their chances to grow up with morals, a work ethic, and love within their hearts. It has been placed on our hearts to work with the youth of our community, our future leaders of tomorrow, and workers who will then have the opportunity to affect change in their children's future. We will strive to combat community deterioration, juvenile delinquency, bullying, and the ongoing opioid crisis and addictions destroying the lives of our children; by building morals and character into our youth in our community. We plan on providing the youth in our community more reformed outlets, to avoid the horrible and negative influences of gangs and related activities. Saving Our Generation is more than just a company developing programs for the youth to have a greater impact in their communities but a home for our community. Saving Our Generation is not a favor, it's an obligation.
