Fritz G. DeJOIE, Jr.—Founder and CEO of Saving Our Generation—has become an inspirational figure, using his talents to uplift and transform the lives of countless young people through education and entertainment.

Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Mr. DeJOIE was gifted with many talents that he longed to share with the world. However, growing up in a poverty-stricken neighborhood in the late 1980s, opportunities for children of color to pursue their dreams—especially in entertainment—were often limited. Despite his determination and the unwavering support of his loving parents and siblings, Mr. DeJOIE struggled to carve out his place in an environment filled with negative influences.

Repeated attempts to establish himself were met with disappointment, and over time, he found himself drawn into the very struggles his family had tried to protect him from. Poor choices led to serious challenges, including multiple school expulsions, extended stays in psychiatric institutions, bullying, and ultimately, incarceration.

It was during his time in prison that Mr. DeJOIE made a pivotal decision—he would use his experiences to create a positive impact on the next generation. With the steadfast support of his family, he dedicated himself to building a platform where underprivileged youth could express themselves, find their voices, and showcase their unique talents. This vision became Saving Our Generation, an organization designed to empower young people, encourage self-expression, and prevent them from feeling silenced, overlooked, or forced into making the same mistakes he once did.

Today, Mr. DeJOIE remains committed to his mission: to help youth embrace their individuality, build confidence, and strive to become the best versions of themselves—on their own terms. His guiding principle is clear:

“Saving our generation is an obligation, not a favor.”

 President/Music Artist Mr. Darries 'Spydha Mann' Harfield has become one of the most motivational leaders apart of Saving Our Generation. Mr. Harfield was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At an early age Mr. Harfield developed a strong passion for music. Music provided him the escape he needed toward the everyday struggles he and his family faced to make ends meet in a poverty stricken neighborhood. When tragedy struck, he began gravitating toward negative influences in his community due to the lost of friends and immediate family, whom of which kept him grounded when he sought for guidance. Mr. Harfield headed in a downward spiral because of this. When the odds continued to weigh against Mr. Harfield, he not only lost sight on how to value his worth, he also lost sight of the path that of which his support system instilled within him at an early age. It was then when Mr. Harfield was blessed to bring his daughter into this world, who became the light in his most darkest of hours and inspired him to effect positive change. Mr. Harfield ultimate goal apart of saving our generation is to show everyone in the world that it's never too late to save our generation, this one and the next.  

 Vice President/Creative Arts Manager Mr. Andrew M. Moore has become such an inspirational figure apart of Saving Our Generation. Mr. Moore was born and raised in Irving, Texas. At an early age he had grown a strong passion for art and utilized his gift to uplift others to overcome their hardships in life. Mr. Moore became overwhelmed with hardships of his own and caused him to gravitate toward the negative influences in his community because of this. He lost sight behind the power of what his art possessed and how it was truly effecting positive change around him due to negative influences contributing toward the suffocation of his pathway to success. It took Mr. Moore coming face to face with the many influential ripple effects he created with his artwork that saved someone dear close to him to realize he had more to offer the world and it encouraged him to mature in faith, which ultimately opted him to change his life around for the better. He now utilizes his art as a means to encourage youth like himself whom struggled with valuing their worth and wanted them to continue striving to reach their full potential no matter how dark their hours may become. Mr. Moore's goal apart of saving our generation is to one day operate his very own art gallery to continue effecting positive change around the world.
